I was feeling a bit fat today so decided to do one of the tougher hikes in my area. Unfortunately this hike is in the same park as the Cougar attack that I'd posted about so I was a little on edge as I did it.
The great thing about this hike is the amazing colours on show when everything is wet !
Snicker always takes the lead while Maisy brings up the rear !
Lots of slippery rocks so you have to concentrate on your footing all the time !
Unless your names Snicker that is, then you just race around like a mountain goat !!!
Eventually we got close to the top and started to get rewarded with some views.

We finally reached the top.
As we were about half way into the hike I ran into a young couple. It turned out that the girl was a friend of the guy whose Pitbull was attacked by the Cougar, I told her that after seeing it on the news I'd started packing some bear spray again. This was my protection today !
