Tough slog today !

Yeah maybe the fact that I had a little too much to drink last night didn't help but man is this little hike a tough slog !!!!!

Even the flat sections are gnarly:

At least on a clear day, like today, the views are worth the effort:

Came across a pretty little wild edible: A Fairyslipper,the Haida boiled and ate the corms in small quantities..supposed to have a rich buttery flavour !

Couple of beers in my local and then onto red wine...I'm trying to lose a little weight for summer !

I had steel reserve, eight cans and I wasn't feeling too good. Had to walk 8 miles round trip to get to the UPS office to have them tell me their driver can't find my house even with GPS help, and that's why my 250 dollars' worth of Condor goodies haven't got here yet. They've tried 3 times. They said if they can't find it tomorrow I'll have to walk all the way back out there and pick it up myself, and I still have to pay for shipping... how's that for customer service? Oh, our dumbassed driver can't find your house so you still have to come get the package and pay us anyway...

PT - not sure if I've ever seen this asked, how did you end up living there? Just fortunate to be born in the area or did you seek it out and relocate so you could live in such an amazing area? Either way, I'm jealous...
