I have not been on in a while. Life and work was sucky, and last month we found that my wife (the pretty and very smart one in the family) had a brain tumor.
The operation went well, but chemo and radiation are next.
There are some deficits in speech and a few other areas, but she is still herself.

Our best wishes to you and the wife. If you need anything, you know we're not too far away.

Speech therapy may be helpful, start it as early as possible to get the best results. That is what we did for my dad, and we are very glad that we did.
 
Thoughts and prayers from us as well. I myself had a brain tumor removed 10 years ago or so. After two weeks I thought I was ready to go back to work. Ended up home for 6 months.
The brain takes time to heal.
Wishing the best for you guys. Your right, she does seem to be the smarter and certainly the prettier one in the family.
 
Smoke up from Mass. One of my aunts is in chemo now, not fun stuff. Here's hoping for a smooth recovery.
