Welcome to the Rat's Nest, I'm glad that you stopped by.

If you are asking if we are tougher than HI knives, then I guess I'll answer I don't know. It depends on what you consider tough, and also what you need the knife for. We make some incredibly high performance knives that are extremely tough. They get their strength from a differentially tempered blade(on our large knives) and also from our proprietary heat treat. They do not have to be thick to be strong.
