I traded into a stripped and used BK2 at Beckerhead West and had a hankering to make a set of scales for it. I used some Toxic Green G10 and stainless steel screws and a little time this afternoon
Photos aren't that great as I have yet to oil the scales. I am waiting for the LocTite to set on the handle bolts. I actually had to make three scales. I counter bored the screw head clearance with a modified drill and on one scale, it snagged and tore through the pilot hole
Luckily I had not yet invested that much work in the scale so I started another one. This is a labor of love for me. Not gonna ever go into production but I, like others, love modifying my Beckers
All those bright custom handles at BHW really motivated me!
