I just got finished with this scale project. It's a simple clean look that I feel makes it nice. I still need to finish a back spacer with a lanyard hole. Here are a few pics to look at.

awesome!!!!! can you post some more pics??

also, how did you combine the peel ply and the toxic green? do you glue them together?

I can try and take some better pictures for you soon. I used Gorilla epoxy to laminate the green to the black. Sand, glue(use some wax paper around the pieces), clamp, dry 24 hours.

That is pretty Awesome I love the green, it would be awesome if it was florescent where it will glow in a black light or in the dark. I would like to see more of your work!

If you have a few questions about making scales on your own, feel free to PM me if you want some tips or tool info etc..... mylastregret.

I will definitely check it out. I have a general idea of material. Would also be cool to make your own grips with a 3d printer.

That looks very cool. The green really makes it stand out. Great job.
Thanks again. I know it's simple but It was good design for st. Patrick's Day.

There is one more for you mylastregret

CNC routers are cool also. I have found that nothing beats hand crafted work, It can have more character. It depends on what you are making or the look you are after.
