I find the whole Toxic trend way overblown, and generally anywhere from OK'ish to freakin' fugly. I do like your etch work on the link, I have to say.

The knife in the picture you linked to is truly awesome, gotta love the blade shape and especially the acid camo.

As for that "grandma's crocodile leather purse from the 70s" look...well, it's a bit fruity.

hm, i very like toxic style maded by Eric Blair. blade designs are really strange and wicked. i love this!
so it's the reason that i wanted to try to make my version of toxification.

here's photos of next progress. i've maded grounds (it is asymetrical convex grinded). i have to amend the grounds on the reverse, polish the surface of micarta and ofcourse make etching. here are photos:
