Does anybody reading this have a Trace Rinaldi Tactical Kitchen Knife?

If so do you use it and what do you think?

Regards,

Ed

The TKK is a great knife, very well built with a professional fit and finish. Trace made a sheath for mine to actually fit in the right pocket (under the apron), with a clip. The knife has a nice slim profile without feeling 'thin' at all. With the distal taper grind its really a cutter.

Trace really got some input to develop this knife, and went the extra effort to fabricate the sheath. He charges less than he should.

Hey Michael good to hear from you! Glad to see your TTKK is still working hard for ya. Michael's knife was one of the very first produced and I have changed the handle design slightly.. The TTKK looks like this now...http://www.pe.net/~thrblade/Knives/images/ttkk.jpg Michael was there to see the Genesis of this design, and was one of the first guys to order all those moons ago..
HJK yours is coming, wont be long now:-)

I have one in talonite, 4 1/2" blade, G-10 scales coming soon also. My wife, and I are going on a weeks vacation camping up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and looking forward to using it in the camp kitchen for preparing meals, etc.
I am excited about getting it, and comparing to some other of my fixed blades in assorted steels I am taking.
I already have a Tom Mayo TNT in talonite, Camillus Talon, mini-Talon, and really like them both, so know I will really like the TTTKK that Trace is making for me.

Just my .02 cents worth ahead of time.

This is a great knife! Mine is D2 and sharp as the dickens. Joe Talmadge designed this with Trace and the knife is a winner. It is tactical but utilitarian also. My wife's first thought was, "it looks like a chef's knife" so hence the name Talmadge Tactical Kitchen Knife (TTKK). You can use this knife in the kitchen, in camp, skinning and defense. An all around great package and wonderful handle ergos.

The knife should cost more than it does!

I love mine.
