It was a collabration between Tom Brown and Dave Beck. From what's been said on this forum, Dave no longer makes knives. Roger Linger makes a dandy WSK.

Thanks Scott, I only knew about the knife through Tom's Tracking School.
I'll check out the Roger Linger you mentioned.

schanz, here's Rogers website with a pic of the WSK. He's a good man and a great maker. ;)

Bladewolf, love your avatar. Who's artwork? Looks like Boris Valejo ( not sure of how his last name is spelled. )

If you are looking to ask the design owner, Linger is not the maker, he just made a copy of the design. You would want to ask Beck or Brown. Who actually designed it seems to be of contention as both have claimed it.

Scott,

Thanks, it's actually an image done for me by Harry Roland. You can see his
works, and a full size image of Shewolf @ www.catskillcomics.com

Roger makes a version of the knife, but if you want info about the creation of it, you need to talk to either Dave Beck or Tom Brown. From what I've heard, Tom Brown wanted Dave to mass produce the knife and Dave couldn't or wouldn't do it so that's why Top's makes them. Tom went to Tops to have it mass produced. Once again this is hear say.

Bladewolf, thanks for the info. ;) Cool design
