Tracker knife in The Hunted

ok, i'm confused... is the knife he uses in The Hunted the Tom Brown Tracker made by TOPS, or is it the Dave Beck version? Can anyone compare and contrast the two versions for me?

ah, i see a diff saw blade... do you think one is better than the other? what kind of coating is on the dave beck version, it looks like black boron? is it still available?

It was Dave Beck's knife in the film. The prop department made dozens of aluminum and rubber models for the fight scenes. If you go frame by frame you can see the knife goes from Dave Beck's real knife to an all black rubber knife with no handle fasteners, then back to the Dave Beck original. When it gets knocked out of Benicio's hand the camera shows the knife lying on the ground and you can clearly see the high polished blue-grey finish and brass handle fasteners.

Bought it earlier today, around noon... just finished watching it, and the handle alone gives it away as being beck's work.
