I am looking for advice on which version of the Tom Brown Tracker/Wilderness Survival Knife to buy. I had a Tops Version but sold it because it was not up to the standards I was looking for. Now, I understand that Dave Beck has a version, and that Roger Linger has version as well. Can anyone give me any advice about which to buy.

Maybe if you wait a year for the hype to wear off,
you'll get a better price.
Someone else was making one too.
Was it (can't remember first name, Robert maybe) Hankins?

If you can stand it, I'd wait to see if Dave Beck will get back into it. There's nothing like a Beck Tracker. I have 3 Becks and they are the toughest knives I own.
