Made a tracking stick, not very eco friendly to take one out of the forest every time.

also made the bead myself.

very nice craftsmanship! I really like the point for traction, a wooden tip doesn't always grip certain terrains. How did you reattach the wood above the antler? Is there a rod through the middle?

That is awesome! I would also like to know some details about the construction.

A well made and attractive walking stick. The metal spike on the end . Have been thinking about those to help keep me upright on icy walks. How did you install that impressive point ?

Thanks!

the construction of the handle is like a sticktang knife, there is a metal rod in the middle of the pieces of antler, G10 etc, which is tightly glued in the hazel stick ( about 4 inches, each end)

The spike is the metal part from an old one handed glue clamp.

Very nice work. I love making walking staves and this opens up a new door leading to fun ideas. Thanks, penvisser.
