Come on down and spend the w/e at with us at the Trackrock Hammer-in.

Set in the beautiful Trackrock Campground and Stables.

www.trackrock.com

Tent camping, RV and Cabins available.

No agenda , just good fun, food and forging.

This is a family event, so bring the Wives, Husbands, Kids, dogs or goats.

Bring your forgeing equipment if you can. We usually have several forges set up for use. More the better.

Saturday and Sunday are the main days, some folks show up a day or two ahead of time just to look around the area and enjoy the atmosphere.

It's well worth the trip just to meet with Master leather craftsman , Sandy Morrissey. And of course Master Williams :D

If you plan to camp or need a cabin, Call up the Alexanders. Either Frank or Debbie should set you up with a reservation.

Mark

I hope to make it this year BUT I'm leaving the goats at homeif Bastid going to be there? :D :D

If the good Lord is willin' and the creeks don't rise, I will be there. I attended last fall, and it was one of my most well loved experiences. Great and caring people sharing knowledge, skills, and ideas.

Thanks to Carl (CREX) for having the forsight to put this thing together. Thanks to all who made it a success last year, and especially to my friend Sandy for the "Personal-and-up-front visit to his lovely home.

If you have never attended this event, you need to take the time to "give it a chance"..........You won't be disappointed.

Can't wait 'till September.

Robert

Mark,
I'm planning on making it this fall. Someone's gotta be there to control that Bastid guy and his goat..:)

Anthony said he does a mean goat BBQ if things get out of hand.
Robert - I'm only a co-conspiritor in these events. Brother Mark poked me first, but now it's closing in on a full fledged fistfight. We'll probably keep it up 'til Pop stops the car. Hope you make it. Bring some of them dad-blamed knives to strut out with this time.
Brian - I'll make sure there's an extra can of GO-JO on sight!
Some of you guys that have been showing up regular......there's still room on the token board.

How lucky can I get? I live so close to the hammer in location that it would only be a short walk from the house! My shop, help, and refrigerator is open to all who care to come. These hammer ins are two bright spots in my year and the friendships made here are dear to my heart! ---Sandy---

Looking forward to it my Friend. I may have another BIG project that needs your Masterfullness :D

If you are game ?

Trackrock priorities.

1. Hug Sandy
2. Hug Miss helen
3. Raid Refrigerator :D

BTTT

Just wanted to put this current again .

Man I can hardly wait.

Looking forward to seeing all you fine folks.

As Carl has mentioned. If you are planning to attend. Please make a "Token" for the plaque . A standard quarter size round piece of whatever material you wish, with your makers mark would be placed on the board.

Come on cool weather.

a new token Mark? Or one to add to the board?

I have a request Sandy......do a leather dying tutorial :D

Just bringing it up current. Trackrock is just around the corner folks. Start packing.

Mark, Carl, and Sandy,

Mark and Carl:
How early are you guys getting there? If I can make it (and this year I should be able), I'm thinking like Wed. or Thurs. Too early or just right?

Sandy: Any chance if I get there early, the John C Campbell School will have either an open house, or an auction? If not, think you could arrange to introduce me to one of the blacksmiths there? :)

Pam

Pam,
Hope you can make it. Mark and I plan to hook up on thursday afternoon. We'll be in cabin #5 unless something changes. If it does we will post a message at the office.

Hey Pam,

Good to hear from you again. Wondered if you fell of the face of the earth :)

I think the auction at the folk school is later in the year.

I'm sure if you showed up at the school , somebody would be happy to show you around.

Cant wait to see everyone.

Pam, not only will I introduce you to one of the finest instructors in bladesmithing at the school, but will take you to his home where you can meet his lovely, talented wife. I am referring to Chuck and Peggy Patrick, two people that I have been privileged to call friend! Looking forward to seeing you again, young lady----Sandy
