Trackrock Hammer-In Spring 2022

Some traditions should never die... even when some that set the tradition are sadly absent and sorely missed. This is the semi-annual knife drop at the Hammer-In at Trackrock. After a long day of forging, hanging out, and catching up with friends at the barn... everyone finds the nicest slab of wood laying around and drops every knife they have with them on that wood. We have amazing knives pictured by the pros of Fiddleback, Cohutta, Warlander, Carl Rechsteiner, Rick Lowe, and more. There are also so newly hammered models from the newer kids on the block like TJ, Dominique, Vander, Nolan, & more.

You may even be able to play Where's Waldo with the ever elusive VANCE in the background of one of the pics!!!

Thanks for posting the photos Robert. Looks like everyone is having a blast. It’s nice to see Phillip VANCE there. Some great looking knives in the mix there. I especially like the puukko in the foreground of the first photo. Who made that one?

Not this time. Too busy catching up with friends and taking pics. But i did make some new friends. Theres lots of cool people to talk to.

Here are a few pics from the 40th Trackrock Hammer-In. The turn out was affected by weather Friday, as well as Blade Show Texas taking away many of the makers that usually attend. But a good time was had by all that managed to make it. What a great event!
