Just got back from another great hammer-in up at Trackrock Campground in Blairsville, GA. I wanted to show the best forging that was done up there. Not a knife, but a hook forged by my daughter Kassidy with the help of Carl Rechsteiner. It looks great, and she's very proud of it!

Get her a piece of flint to go with it and it should serve her well for years to come. ;)
 
Wish I had known Trackrock was happening :( Guess nobody loves me anymore.

It's such a good thing happening at Trackrock. Getting the public at large involved and interested is very important to keeping knives legal in the future.

Aw, Shucks, Mark,, we still love ya! I assumed you knew about Trackrock dates!! You know what they say about ass/u/me---? Will personally invite you and Deb to stay at my home for the fall edition! Sandy
 
Not only did Whit's daughter brighten up the whole hammer-in, she made Carl look like a great teacher too.

Mark we waited as long as we could for you, John and Robert, but finally decided to go ahead and start having fun. There were a few clouds at Trackrock, but it was a good day with good friends. It is always a great time but it is better if everyone can make it. It is our loss.
 
I guess I'd better keep a look out on the knife network. I honestly had no clue.

Mark, info on TrackRock is in the GCKG forum on KnifeNetworks.. Looks like Carl has a tenative date in September. And Kassidy did forge a great looking hook! Her dad forged out about a dozen blades! It was a great time and the barn was full of folks!
 
man, I have to get back down there myself!! Maybe soon too..my little girl will be 3 this December so it wont be long before UNCLE CREX or M.WILLIAMS is helping her swing a hammer:thumbup:
