Hey folks it's Trackrock Weekend coming up so give my buddy Andy and crew a break and let them relax a bit and have some fun. This is a special group of guys and all good friends of mine. Really looking forward to seeing them all together......especially at the late night High Tech Sessions around a good campfire!

Really feel sorry for you'ns that can't make it.

Looking forward to getting everyone together in the barn and around the fire for months now. Not too many things better than getting to pound some steel and beers with the boys and sit around a camp fire telling lies. We'll also have a special guest in for the weekend, who will be a great addition to the crew.

Same here Tony. Can't wait to board that southern bound flight...

I'm bringing some extra lies, so if anyone needs some just let me know.

I got to read and follow all the 2016 Spring Tracrock threads and these events definitely sound like good times. Hope everyone has a safe and fun trip with lots of great memories.

If its a possibility, I'd like to request pictures and maybe a group picture that is accompanied by a list of forum names and actual first names. Please? Something to put faces with names.

Depends on the statute of limitations laws once I cross state lines! :D

Hey Tony, it's too late for that ..... most of youse guys' mugs are hanging on a clipboard in the local US Post Office (so State Lines DON'T matter).

Great attitude Martin, we'll try to be gentle - NOT! Don't worry about the ambient temps, you're going to be around forges running 1600 to 2200 degrees and anvils that sizzle spit - you'll be able to lie down on the Walmart parking lot after a full day of sun and still feel cool!!

I'm coming in early to help you set up, and enjoy some quiet time with my kid. Should pull in tonight around 6pm. I'll be avoiding the Post Office, and may have to dress up in my Walter White costume for the weekend. Luca can dress like Jesse. Or we'll dress up like it's the Walking Dead...much more suitable for this gang anyway.

Maybe Henry Cambron will show up. He can give you pointers on the WD. He's a background actor and has been in several scenes.
I will probably roll in around 1 or so. You and Luca want to join us for potluck this evening? I'll fill you in when I see you.

We'd love to join you. Honored! But if it's a pot luck, I need some advice regarding our contribution. Dessert? Meat? What can we bring?

We will be in or around campsite 74.

Tony, and for everyone else going, Bitter Creek Meat Market is off of 76 and Trackrock Gap where you will turn to go to the campgrounds. They are very friendly and have a great selection of meats, veggies, breads and all the sides. I would suggest calling before you leave to see what they have and you can place an order to pick up on your way in. I would advise calling sooner rather than later because they often have their most popular items sold out before or soon after they are put out. Just an FYI, they are getting in pork butts tomorrow and will be making fresh brats and Italian sausage.
