This event is an unbelievable weekend of fun and knives. The campground is beautiful and the people are just as wonderful.

Yeah, we are looking forward to it - both the forging and getting up into the mountains for the weekend. Thanks Carl!

ok - not missing it this time. submitting for personal vacation days with the boss.

That old thing? Nope that thing is slated for a leather bench someday. I got better than that to pound steel on.

I know you do!! I was there the day you got it and I've been glad that you did snag it. Top notch anvil with a back story to boot.

They both do a fine job holding up handle material.

Sacre bleu!
You are all a bunch of disreputable feather merchants.
See you in at TR.

Nobody is going to this NC show?

I will be leaving for the Winston-Salem show later this afternoon. I went last year and while it is not a really big show, it was a lot of fun.

Update on TR
There will be a catered BBQ lunch on Saturday for those who asked, the rest are first come first served.

I go "off-grid" this morning through Sunday.

See you guys there.

Hurray. I'm excited about it. One and a half hard days and then I'm there.

Excited myself. You know how long it's been since I've had a Fri-Sat off?!? lol.

What a great weekend!
Got to spend some good quality time with some of my best friends, weather was perfect, crowd behaved, accomplished way more than expected and made several new friends.......many of them are altitude challenged for now but show great interest and enthusiasm backed with determination (what else could you want from young'un?).
Now I can settle a few days for R&R.
Thanks everyone for your support, cooperation and help, insures that these events work.
I am truly blessed with the quality and willingness to serve from all of you. I know it's from the heart.
