Will the folks at ESEE reapply the traction on their products if you send them in? I have never heard anything in relation to this so I'm a little curious.

No, the coating is NOT covered in the warranty. It will wear off over time.

I don't think CutleryMaster62 is asking a warranty question. Correct me if I am wrong but you just want to get your coating fixed and didn't know if ESEE does that or not? It sounds like you will pay for it but didn't know if the service was offered.
If it were me and I was wanting to get the coating redone I would strip it completely and take it to a gunsmith to get done during their next cerekote process or whatever coating they are using.

Gotcha, No, Rowen being a large scale manufacturing facility they don't do smaller piece work like sharpening and recoating blades.
If I were needing a blade recoated, I would contact JforBush here on the forum and have my blade recoated in any color I wanted.
