I'm looking for a two bladed Jack, one high clip point (ca 2.75 - 3.00 inch) and a pen blade, in good old carbon steel. Shoulld have natural scales, either bone, stag or wood. Hopefully one that doesn't require a second mortgage. Any suggestions, brands, dealers, etc. appreciated.

Forgot to add. Would like top and bottom bolsters, but a top one only would be ok.
Thanks

There are literally hundreds to choose from that fit your requirements. It's all about price point. When you say "one that doesn't require a second mortgage", that is very subjective to the buyer. So what I'm saying is, you will get better more refined options if you let us know your actual price point. Because the range is very broad. Everything from $10 Rough Riders to $100+ Great Eastern, Queen, etc. and everything in between. And that's without getting into custom made offerings.

That Case looks nice is the 62032 CV a carbon steel? Price point ca. $50, never seen a RR in carbon (except a couple TS/LL in D2).

Yes CV is chrome vanadium which is Case's carbon steel (modified 1095). If you shop around you can probably find one for $40-$45.

Anyone have any experience with the Utica Catskill Barlow in 1095? A bit smaller than I would prefer, but I've always liked barlows.

OK, found my knife - a Queen bone stag barlow in D2. A bit higher than I wanted to go, but is just the right knife.
