Trade offs and sacrifices

I've owned a fair share of quality folders and have a few right now Buck Mayo tnt and small regular sebenza, but theres always trade offs and sacrifices there is never one made exactly like what I want. Either its the grind (not full flat), handles (holes or slots to reduce weight), blade with holes for opening instead of studs, relief cuts for frame locks that are too thin, etc. Something.

I know someone on here is going to say contact one of the custom makers, tried that and they all say man thats going to be expensive why not try x instead, or they don't take truly custom orders. I spend good money on stuff and I want exactly what I want, I don't like having to make trade offs and sacrifices on my knives, anything else I don't care, but lately I'm of the mindset if I can't have exactly what I want, then screw it I don't want anything at all.

Again with other stuff it doesn't matter, my vehicles, guns, tools, my house, hell I don't care, but the knife thing is really starting to eat at me. Just venting a little as I would like just once not have to make trade offs and sacrifices and get exactly what I want.

Why not get something close, and get it modified to be exactly what you want.

Blades are easy to regrind, and many handles are simple to modify. All you have to worry about is general size, shape, and mechanics.

I still haven't found the perfect EDC, but that has more to do with me not quite knowing what I want.

With all of the knives available, I can't believe that you can't find ONE with all of the features that you want. Does anything that you have seen come close? :)

Because the only thing thats even remotely close will have to be completely remade, new handles, new blade, etc. Its design issues, like how much tang it has, smooth handles with no holes, no slots, no lines, no nothing just straight smooth ti handles, thens their the relief cut, grind, etc.

Even on the one model most similar to what I want the blade is not the right design and the handles have lines carved out on one side, so I'm basically going to have to have the blade and handles completely remade, that is the whole knife. Oh and the overall knife is not tall enough, most here would call it width. So again the whole thing has to be remade.

Put it on paper and send it to 0ne of the Makers here. There is no other answer if you can't build it yourself.
