Trade values

Your best bet is to look for similar knives on the exchange and go from there.

Good luck!

Most likely depends on how much the guy wants the 21 and how much he wants to get rid of what he has.
If you want to PM me I will be glad to give you my opinion of the range of actual value.

You can look at my BST Page also on FB. Always lots of plain sebenzas on there for some great prices.

Exactly why I wish everyone didn't delete their sale prices around here. Makes me crazy; it's impossible to do a quick search and get some recent values for similar knives.

I agree 100%!!! I can't stand it when I'm looking for a particular knife and see it's sold and then find $old in place of the price.

That does make researching more difficult...and that is the reason I leave my prices up after a sale!

If either of you don't understand why, you can do a search and find many threads covering why people delete the prices. You may understand and just not like it, but I thought I would mention it just in case you do not understand.

At another large enthusiast forum similar to this where I am active and a Moderator, and where many BF members are also members, it is policy to keep up sale prices after the sale is done. It only makes sense. A forum like this is a place to compile knowledge to benefit all members, which purpose is negated when the useful information is deleted. Telling people to search for recent sale prices here to help in pricing knives isn't very helpful when 90% of prices are gone.

Not search for sale prices, search for Why they are removed. This is old news actually.

I was referring to those who tell folks like the OP of this thread to search for values.

I have read threads about why they are removed. There are loads of them, with many people posting that they would like them to stay. That tells me many people would prefer it that way. While others posted they preferred to remove the prices, good solid reasons as to why this is superior were sorely lacking aside from "it's my business" or "that's what everyone else does". So I think most do it because they are followers and that's how it was when they got here, not because there is any true advantage to it.

Anyways, it's not going to change, so I don't care to argue about it, I only mentioned it because it would help guys like the OP here and save them having to ask if they could just look at a few recent sales.

Cheers guys. :)

Ebay being an auction site, may create slightly different results, but they do have a record search of the closed sales.
