Scroll down, I traded for the Huntsman model by Dennis Cook. One with what looks like a coated blade (in the picture), and tan desert micarta handles, and the other with what Scott Gossman said looks like a stabilized desert maple, with a handrubbed finish, and really nice scroll work. Great leather sheath on the handrubbed one, loose kydex sheath on the micarta one. Anybody got any information, more than the website, about Cooks knives?

What show? I was at the Northern Lakes show in Janesville WI Friday but IIRC you aren't from around here.

Is this one of them? I don't see one on that site with scrollwork.

I have a few of Dennis's knives.

AFAIK, he's Lynn Dawson's husband & protege
The two of them turn out some real nice blades.
They're in Arizona.

Lynn was Barry Dawson's protege, and I think she's his neice

Barry's best known for "The Spike", which Cold Steel adopted...
