I was going to get a Yojimbo for a Lil'T, but then arranged to get a Paramilitary from Jazzman for the Yojimbo, instead! Nothing like arranging a 3-way trade!

Anyway. I'm really looking forward to getting a Paramilitary in. I've always told myself that if the Miliary had a different lock, I'd really want one (i'm just not a huge fan of liners, just personal preference, no political statements). Well, when the Para came out, that was good enough for me. And now I'm getting one!

I was informed that this specific Para has almost negligible vertical play. I'm still hoping it has an eccentric pin, so I can play with it! I like playin' with stuff! Even S30V!

440V was 1/2 the reason I got rid of the Lil'T. I just couldn't get it really sharp. I think I ran outta patience. Or sides of the 204. who knows? It's going to a good home with Robo19x.

All this to say, again, I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my Para in the mailbox!

Blackwatch,

Let us know what you thin of it once it arrives...I have my eye on a Para myself. It should be a real beauty!

Well, it just came in! I was so excited, I think I made the postman feel guilty about not being on my doorstep first thing in the AM. But, got the box open in record time, while trying to breath deeply. I was NOT disappointed. This thing is great!

First, it was exactly as described by Jazzman, who traded with me.

Second, it feels great and light in my hand and clipped to gym shorts! Funny, cuz, compared to my REKAT Carnie Cub, the Lil'T felt light. This is lighter, for sure. The handle feels really comfortable, though not quite as nice as the Lil'T did, and it's great to not get pinched by the lock when I open it! hehe.

Even though it's a bit smaller than the Military, I'm very glad I held out for a different lock and aimed towards better steel (to me) than my 440V Lil'T(which I'll get one, probably, in it's next generation). I'm very happy with the knife that is now clipped to my pants. I think it will see a LOT of carry.

If anyone wants a solid, lightweight knife, and likes spydies, I would say...go for this one!

Sean,
I'm glad that you're so happy with the Paramilitary! It's a lot of bang for the buck! I just opened up the Yojimbo and I'm also very pleased with it. I'd been wanting the custom version forever and now that I have the production, I can sleep better at night! ;) Thanks for the great deal, check good, bad, and ugly good sir!

Blackwatch,

Glad to hear you like the Paramilitary. I finally got to handle one today at my local gun/knife shop. It really is a wonderful feeling knife. This shop only has the serrated models in stock for now, so I think I'll hold out for a PE if I can find one.

Enjoy that new knife (you too, Jazzman) :)

Best wishes, Jeff/1911.
