Thomas,
I was researching a Pig Sticker for hog hunting and found this on EBay. The box looks curiously like a Kershaw, but instead it says Useful. Do you guys have a trademark on the box & design? Check out the link. Let me know if the link doesn't work and I will try another way by sending the item #. Seems like they are playing off your company's good name.

It does indeed look a lot like our packaging. We don't have a Trademark on the box or design, so not much I can do about it.

Thanks for the head's up.

That's too bad. I could see someone easily being confused solely on the box design thinking they were getting a Kershaw. Guess you can't stop imitators.

Unreal. They have knocked-off everyone on that site. It is so difficult to protect proprietary rights. Fortunately, you cannot imitate quality- especially Made in USA quality.

That's a great "pig sticker"! 440 grade stainless steel AND a sharpened edge? Where do I bid?

I hope nobody buys that thing.

I've got all these 'Useful' knife boxes laying around.
Anyone know where I can get some faux 'Leeks' to put in them?

To the imitators all I can say is..........asses.

Thanks Thomas, I figured as much.

They couldn't get any more blatant rip-off wise could they?

Is there nothing to be done about the use of your logo? Of course, wanting to do something about it and actually being able to get a satisfactory resolution are, I'm sure, two very different things :(

Maybe conditions will improve as more imported goods from China recieve more and more (negative) attention. Here's to hoping so anyway...

I won't be buying a Chev-Chery any time soon, that's for sure!

Cheers,

your link is broken. what is a chev-chery?

D'oh :foot:

There's an extra http:// in the link text, and yes, it's Chrysler, not Chevrolet.

I'm off to a flying start!
