Trades, and the folly of fools.

So, I bought a Colt Officers model.

Which, while I liked, I already had one, so I traded for a Springfield TRP.

And it shot GREAT, but I have had a hardon for a Colt Commander model. So, I'm looking all over. Word gets to my local gunsmith, and he calls me. Thirteen years ago, I traded the second firearm I ever owned to him for a full blown custom Officers model. I still carry that pistol, but Ive kicked myself for letting the gun go. Well, lo and behold, he still has that pistol. After thirteen years, I have it back, and it aint going anywhere. Just had to brag a little bit.

Now.... If I could just get in on one of those folders..........

Nice toys JC. You read my mind ,J. This is my favorite combo. Been in the water,mud,sand and still shootin' when full of crap.Indestructible folder!! Not a gun expert like some of you guys,but this one shoots when I need it to. You start talking about uppers and lowers and I'm lost. I know AK47 from NCIS.
