I bought this mobility adapter along with a lot of other items at auction. I saved it for the tubing, and it's been in my attic ever since.
However, my back hurts today, a sure sign of old age, and with every passing month, I realize that I need to be thinking more long term as far as my tactical preparation.
Just in case... can you help me out on how to rig this thing for the coming Mayan apocalypse? Does it need regrinding first? Or can I just start mounting weapons immediately?

That thing needs a lot of work, but it's a good platform. Looks like the old Invacare 300 series. I've been rockin' a tricked out Shufflescoot 2000 for the last year or two because of the Efferdent shelf.

You're not ready for one of these sonny. Send me that old Invacare and I'll regrind it for you.

damn. Walker envy.

Edited to ask: Have you ever seen any of these suckers rigged for solar? I'm worried about the grid going down.

The only grid I'm worried about going down is the one in the sidewalk. I've got good brakes on her though.

I'm going to spend the afternoon seeing if I can mount a gravy dispenser without making it too top heavy.

Gravy power. I like that. No chewing either. You could rig up a hydration tube.....hell yeah!

That was actually the first model I purchased. Once I got acclimated to assisted maneuvering, I advanced to the Imperial Luke Sky-Walker:

Mine's more of the grocery getter model:

You can fit a lot of tinder in that basket, Dubz, and mount a fire extinguisher under the seat.
Send it to Trade, he'll regrind it for you.

Mini-keg? You get a lot more bang per ounce with other choices.
