I am trying to post something in the trading forum, specifically the Canadian exchange and I do not have an option to post a thread? I have looked over the rules and it looks as though registered users are allowed to post trades. Am I doing something wrong??

I think you have to have a minimum of a Basic Membership to trade now, too many people were abusing the forum. I could be wrong :)

To post a trade thread you have to be at least a Basic member. You can reply to existing trade threads though. Also, questions about the site would be appropriate in the Tech Support forum.

The upgrade is very much worth it. It will open up some interesting doors.:D

I was going off this...which is stickied at the top of every buy/sell section

REGISTERED USERS - The first level of membership. This one has no perks other than the ability access the Exchange to purchase items or trade. Registered useds are NOT allowed to post items for sale,
If you have not purchased a paid subscription, you are by default a Registered User. As such, you are not allowed to sell items on the forums. You may post items for Trade in the Wanted To Trade Forums, or post requests for items to purchase in the Wanted To Buy Forums.

Sorry, can a mod please move this to tech support...I did not see it when I first looked.

By the way, the Canadian Exchange forum requires Gold membership to sell or trade, since it is a combined forum for both.

My apologies, i've been extremely busy and my attention has been spotty at best. Add to that server/forum issues and I have not had the chance to be able to properly update the Exchange rules. Thanks for the reminder. :)
