Trading my large sebenza for a umnumzana

I received my first Umnumzaan a few weeks ago and I am extremely happy. I've never had a large sebenza, only a small, and I can honestly say that the Umnumzaan gets more pocket time. It feels like a knife that can anything thrown at it and still have some left in the tank.
 
I much prefer the Sebenza myself. I like the Sebenza pivot, the slightly thinner blade stock, and I don't care for the cut outs in the Umnumzana handle or the look of the blade spine.

Some like it better though. You'll have to get it in hand before you will know for yourself.
 
I'm toying with the idea of buying a used zaan and having the scales anodized blue. I think that looks good.
 
Yeah I should have in my hand Saturday. I usually ship trades at the same time but the other guy shipped uninsured so I am gonna wait till I receive.

Sounds like it's a done deal? I don't think anyone can tell whether you'd be able to trade back or not. Trades are basically hit-or-miss. I have a couple of Umnus and quite a few large Sebs; I like both quite a bit, but I don't think I'd trade out of a large Seb for an Umnu, but that's just me.
 
I have total faith in you wevil not the usps your feedback is great and honorable but the post office suck and then im out of a sebenza.
 
I think you will really like the Umnumzaan. I carry my Startac more than my 21.

On a different subject, I like the pic. Do you do surveying for a living?
 
I LOVE my Wilson Combat old pivot no LBS Zaan . Much more then the new pivot, and old pivot no lbs plain Zaan. But really though, you can't go wrong with any Zaan model IMO! Congrats!!!

I have had several zaans, the first 3 versions made actually ( the original, tanto, Wilson Combat ). These were all before the LBS and new pivot came out. I really liked them all. I love the added features like the raised thumb release that was on the WC version. Makes unlocking the zaan much easier. The LBS does not bother me and the ones with the CRK logo I think adds to it. The older pivot bushing I think looks better, but I can see why CRK is going with the other as they now have the same pivot bushing on the new Zaan, Seb 25, Ti-Lock. So its easier for them........There are tons of 21's out there, so if you decide you want another, you will not have to look far. I personally love the Enigma design as I have done puzzles off and on through my life and spent some quality time with my Grandmother, Mother, Wife doing them, so its kinda sedimental. Both are great knives, but for me after having both, since I like the Enigma, I would probably go with that.
