Thanks for the link. I'm starting to learn that there's more to traditionals & auto's than just "stillettos." Knives like that make cool conversational pieces!

Probably a fish scaler, to remove the scales from fish. The toothpick is a traditional fisherman's pattern. The end of the scaler often has a hook remover and sometimes a caplifter above the tang.

Some nice ones being posted. I just put a new spring in this one last night, and she's firing like new. The cell covers are a little beat up, but solid.





I think I must have worn out the new spring firing it all day...
