hey folks.. hows it going.. heres some pics from The Chamberlin Ranch 3-d shoot, we went to this past weekend.. it's put on by The Traditional Bowhunters of Ca..
this shoot is a lot of fun.. we have been going to it for many years now, and always have a blast.. we have friends/archers from all over Ca. that we meet up with at this shoot..
anyhow, heres some pics.. we were supposed to leave last thursday afternoon, but ended up getting dumped on by a gnarly storm that rolled through, and held off and wound up leaving early friday a.m.. this shoot is held every year on a big ranch outside of Santa Barbara Ca. which is a little over 4 hours south of us..
this was a cool shot, we ran into quite about of rain the whole way there and it cleared up just in time, right as we rolled into the area..there was so much rain the few days before, folks couldn't drive into the property and were parked at the gate.. we ended up 4 wheeling in.. that was fun..
the property this shoot is held on is gorgeous, especially this time of year..
our shooting crew, minus the misses and our friend Katherine.
me drinking some coffee.
the little dude shot really well, but didn't bring home a trophy this year..
i love this place.
my old ML camp knife prepping dinner..
the final result.. some chicken tacos..
heres a cool little knapped knife/tool, that my younger son picked up from primitive technician Joe DaBill.. it's got a yew handle..
more to come.. please stand by..
