Care to tell us what they are? Not everyone knows the names of every knife and it might get some people pointed in new directions they might not have headed otherwise. In particular I am curious about that beautiful piece of steel at the bottom there.

Sure thing Derek...and thanks for your interest. Left to right at the top. 1) Is a custom Charles May Skifka Scandi with Iron wood handles and S30V steel. 2) Is a Charles May Cow Killer with Iron wood handle and a 2 1/2" carbon steel blade. 3) Is a Kellam Wolverine with 4" carbon steel blade (scarey sharp). 4) Is an inexpensive knife with carbon steel blade. 5) Is a Charles May Big Hand Scandi with micarta handle and S30V steel.

If I had to pick one blade out of the lot to rely on it would be the one you like at the bottom. It will really take a lickin and keep on tickin.

My Bushcraft style blades. All Bark Rivers w/ desert ironwood burl slabs

I think your blades have the best looking Iron wood handles I've ever seen.

I use to have a huge collection of scandi bushcraft blades, i'm down to about five of my favorites... Heres a couple.

Very nice stuff by the way, man, I really like that ironwood...

Many "bushcraft" blades are very traditional designs.
Others, not so much.
Let's try to stay with the traditional ones.

Scandi grinds are a traditional grind, even if not common in the US back in the day.
Odd doohickeys at the butt of the handle are pretty much a new fangled thing.

"Bush craft knives" makes me think of people creating topiary shapes from their shrubbery. :D. So I would think the Victorinox Floral knife and the Opinel gardening set.

Lookin good man. I really like the last one. The knife handle and the sheath work are exquisite.

Thanks Saltaire. The handle is Hickory and Moose antler from a rack taken about 100 years ago. The sheath is cut from the board section of the same rack.

Best regards
