Traditional Case knife

I have a friend who wants to buy my case knife off of me.

I got it long ago at an antique shop, dont remember what I paid for it.

What would you say is the value of this knife?
Of course i will clean it up, and perhaps sharpen if he requests it.

While asking for value is against the forum rules, my suggestion would be to give it to your friend as a token of your friendship and show him how to clean it and sharpen it.
That will go much further for both of you than the few bucks he may give you.
