Traditional Collaborations?

Other than the Case/Bose designs, it seems like all the collaborations between custom makers and production companies are relegated to the "tactical knives". Are there other traditional knife companies that produce production versions of custom knives?

Boker Fiskmuk comes to mind. Tony had a collaboration with Ontario/RAT for their cattleman folder. The Dan Burke Queen/Schatt and Morgan/Ontario RAT collaborations (I have the railsplitter model from Ontario RAT, made by Queen). There have to be more out there. I wouldn't call it a collaboration, but the Northwoods Scagel reproductions come to mind.

Dan Burke and Queen collaborate on a few knives. They don't do an annual release like Case and Tony Bose though.

Here's a Rancher with stag scales and BG-42 blade.

Richard Rogers had one with Schrade before demise (of Schrade not Richard :D)).
CAS Iberia with Ron Lake.

Queen has done knives with Joe Pardue as well. AG Russell has done collaborations with lots of folks over the years, Ron Lake comes to mind, though I'm not sure if his interframes count as "traditional".

Could the extremely rare Jess Horn Spyderco collaboration be considered traditional? Not the FRN ones, I believe this one had stag/bone etc scales?

Joe Kious had a limited edition collab with Schrade many years ago. That was one pretty knife.

I don't know. It had jigged bone and bolsters, but it also had a pocket clip and available serrations.

The pocket clip is a deal-breaker. No traditional knives had those. Some of the old knives did have serrations though. If you look through the "old catalogue" thread, you'll see a few serrated blades in there.

I forgot all about that one. They were pretty fancy and well done.
I own one of Joe's doctor knives and he was one of the first makers I met when I started having an interest in customs. Joe certainly makes a heck of a knife no matter what the style.

I'm not sure if this is the one you mean. It is a nice little reverse congress.

That's the one, Gary.

Have not seen one come up for re-sale yet, the original buyers seem to be still liking them.
