Hi fellas! I lurk here quite a bit and find that there is a higher concentration of trad folders etc. Lets get some trad fixxers in here.

My BlackJack 'Woodsman' - effingham, IL.

Guy...I've always wanted one of those! Please tell me you have another one you've been wanting to get rid of. ;)

Keith...would you give us some details on this knife? What is the handle made of? The blade? Is it a user? How much did it cost?

I agree it would be great to see some more fixed blade pictures...I will see what I can dig up when I get home tonight. :D

The blade is 4" of 52100, sheep horn handle with an overall length of 8.5". The price of the knife was $1200.00 and it is a user. If the blade gets to scratched up I will just send it back to Ed to be re-polished.

I do not own one of these, but I happen to think it is one of the nicest knives being produced by one of the big manufacturers. This is the Camillus/Fisk OVB(our very best) bowie. Not as nice as one of Jerry's, but really nice just the same.

Edited because I can't spel.

KW, you are very lucky - Ed's knives look great and from what I have read, are one of the best there is!

I can only dream of owning one.

Sorry about the BJ, I had 2 exactly the same and sold the other about 6 months ago. It's a keeper! =) For some reason, there are a few in Australia, I can keep my eyes open for you if you like?

Keith,

Thanks for posting a pic of the OVB. I have one and I'm glad to see it show up on the traditional site. It is the nicest fixed blade I have.

Man I really like that Pronghorn. Wish I could afford a piece like that or one of Jerry Fisks originals but I'm glad to have what I have. Traditional Fixed blades are my all time favorites. Thanks for tha picks guys. Keep them coming...

Thanks Dean

Beautiful knife Keith.., boy Ed makes that 52100 sing! :)

Keith,

very nice model of the randall. I have never seen one like that before, where did it come from or reside?

In my opinion, you just can not beat stag as a traditional handle material, nor leather for that matter. It just seems to fit right in.

I am not sure where it resides, but the picture came from the Nordic Knives site. I posted it because this is my favorite length of blade for this model I really like the way it looks. This is the Randall that I am going to purchase when I finally put the order in.

I agree about stag, it is a fantastic handle material. Leather is not a favorite of mine, but is definitely very traditional.

Here is one of mine. This is a sheephorn hunter by Roger Massey, MS. The blade is 52100.

That's a great looking little hunter you have there Jeff. I love the sheep horn, the blade profile and the overall look. Having a blade of 52100 doesn't hurt either. Nice looking sheath as well. An overall superb package.

One of my favorites is Traditonal as all heck.
Made by Max Burnett from a Daniel Winkler design, this is the knife that everyone pics up first when they see my collection.
