Just wondering how many others on this forum are fans of traditional fixed blade knives. From the amount of threads that I have seen so far it looks like most of the interest is in slipjoints, with lockbacks being the next most popular.

I am a big fan of traditional hunting style knives and bowies. The third knife I every owned was a Puma hunter and from that point on I have loved these kinds of knives.

I used to have a great old Kabar, no not the marine knife, one of their hunting style knives with a thin, SHARP blade and stacked leather handles....I loved that knife and always carried it in my back pocket until one day I came home and noticed the sheath was empty... :(

I put alot of milage on my Schrade Sharpfinger...before I found this place

I am a big fan of Bowies. I also am a sucker for the traditional drop point hunter. I don't do any deer hunting, but whenever I see a nice drop-point, I consider it!;) Heck, I pretty much like all fixed blades. Not a big fan of "tactical" type ones though. (i.e. cord-wrapped Strider types... great knives, just not my cup-o-tea)
Like a good bird and trout pattern too.
How about those with computer skills posting a pic or two?
Off to "enjoy" my frickin' Monday morning....
