Hello, I received this used knife as a gift a few years ago but never got the brand or maker and was wondering if anyone here might know. The person who gave it to me said it was German, it does say rostfrei solingen on the blade which is German for 'rust free'. Thank you!

Both sides have the same relief of elk and deer.

 
No idea. There are/were a lot of large and small cutlery companies in Soligen.

I rather doubt one of the "big three", Puma, Mercer, and Böker made it though.
AFAIK, they put their name on everything they make.
