Hi Folks,
Just wanted to give back to bf members. No particular reason except that I'm mainly a knife user and not collector and I can only have so many knives in rotation. For traditionals I primarily rotate between a mini Barlow and an Alox Sak. I recently did a GAW in general and the winner opted to go for a Kershaw Skyline that I offered which he intends to gift to his nephew (as opposed to taking the traditional you see Barlow).

That said: here are the rules to enter!
****New rule: Mods get to post three different I'm in entries for all the crap they have to deal with!

1) Must have 150 posts in traditionals and contribute vs. going in mostly on GAW's
2) I will ship anywhere reasonable around the world
3)Random number generators don't seem to be very random at times so I'm going to have my coworker pick a number which will be the winner
4)Must be 18 or over or have consent of a parent to receive a knife
5) Feel free to post anything in this thread, but the thread that has "I'm in, thanks BF" or something to that effect is your entry
6)Will run a couple of weeks

The winner will receive this nice user. AG Russell Barlow Medium Lockback in Cocobolo! I love the design, the pivot has washers and is easy opening, with a zulu spear to boot. I really love the design but it's not going to get pocket time so has been just sitting in a drawer since I acquired it. The knife represents everything I respect about AGR though. I'm in, thanks BF/cchu518. AG does a great job with his designs, and the companies that construct them really follow through.
 
I have never owned a lockback Barlow, though I own quite a few Barlows. I will give away a TC Barlow if I win, just to keep the planet in balance!

I am in, the barlow is my favorite pattern and the AG Russell lockback is one I do not own.

Not an entry but thanks for your generosity to the forum. I have never owned an AGR knife other than one I gifted to my dad a few years ago but they have all received rave reviews, especially the traditionals.
 
I, too, have never owned an AGR knife and would love to try one. I'm in, and thanks for the generosity!

That is a generous and unique give away. I like the rules too.

If my number is lucky and I win, I will instruct you to send my prize to the far north and to a kind feller that seems to like this lock-back knife. He spends a lot of his time and effort to bring many of us some really beautiful knives!
 
Not an entry. I believe these rules are some of the fairest I have seen on a gaw. Great knife by the way
 
Thanks KBA! Lords knows most of us don't need another knife! But it sure is fun to get a new one every now and then! :D
