Who are the makers for this style Bowie? I am looking to spend around $300.00. I want it to be as close the the originals as possible cosmetically. Wood handles, carbon steel, maybe a bit of file work. Not too pretty though, I want a work horse. I am not interested in the more fighter oriented styles like the Cold Steel Laredo or the Bill Bagwell ones or a semi-tactical one like the Busses. All info is appreciated.
Would this get seen by the proper people, like some makers, in the shop forum or the makers forum? Could somebody move it there if that is the case?
