Can anyone point in the right direction here?

I'm looking at starting a long, on going project - Traditional Japanese Tanto Dagger [as traditional as I can get in regards to dimensions].

There isn't much on google referring to this...

So far, from what I've seen in images and merchandise dimensions, a 2"x2"x18", maybe x14-15"....Unless of course I can get some solid dimensions.

There's really not set dimensions. I mean, anything beyond a certain length would be considered a wakizashi, but other than that you're pretty much open to interpretation.

Just make it. Short of construction methods, materials, heat-treating, etc, I don't think anyone would argue the dimensions to be without some precedence.
