I posted this (edited for ease of reading) on Instagram but I would like to be more accurate on the blade shapes. So please jump in and correct.
"Some of my traditional knives with interesting blade shapes. This is not a comprehensive or exhaustive display, just a sample.
1) On the left is a full custom by Joel Chamblin with CF scales and IDK maybe a modified Wharncliffe with harpoon swedge of CPM 154 steel;
2) on top is my chubby lad, the GEC 36 Toe Nail Clipper with India ivory bone and a Sheepsfoot blade;
3) then we have the Benchmade Gold Class "Proper" with maroon wood-grain Micarta covers, Mokume Gane bolsters, and, IDK, maybe a sheepsfoot blade of delicious Damasteel;
4) on bottom right is a full custom by Alan Davis with carved Elkhorn covers and a carbon Damascus blade by the venerable Vegas Forge;
5) and on the bottom is the GEC 88 Bayou Trapper with swamp green jigged bone covers and, well, IDK what this blade shape is, maybe a modified clip point. Feel free to correct my info, I would really appreciate it."
