Hi,
So I asked that question in a thread that later was locked so I repost here:
Is there a universally acknowledged reference book on traditional knives, or knives in general? Something I can find new?
Thanks!
Here's a couple of good ones for American and English knives that I bought just this year
Took some searching around to find them though. They're getting kind of scarce.
One site has the last remaining copies of Goins' and another site is print on demand for Tweedale
I didn't bookmark the sites nor could I name the 'where to buy' here anyway, by forum rules.
Other countries producing traditional knives may have their own books.
I think you'd have to be really into collecting to find these most useful though, as much information is just a google or forum search away.
Over 1,000 combined reference pages ...
I thought it would be fun to see and discuss your library of knife books! Here are some of mine. Levine's Guide to Knives probably cover the broadest range of content. If you only want one reference book, these books fit the bill . All 3 editions, that I have, are very similar in content...
