!!!Here's a giveaway!!!

A classic Mora that's well used by me and an old Barlow I just got off the auction site.

Rules:

-I would like these to go to someone who will use them.

-These will be won as a pair, so the winner has a good user fixed and folding knife.

-To submit your first entry, post a picture of most used and/or beat up knife (not necessarily oldest).

-To submit your second entry, post a picture of something you did with any of your traditional knives (think whittling, food prep, skinning, whatever).

-To submit your third entry (and I know this might not get many) post an ORIGINAL or not well known poem or joke related in some way to traditional type knives.

-I will draw a winner next Wednesday or whenever I feel like there are enough entries.

-I will ship anywhere in the lower 48, but AK, HI, and international will have to cover shipping.

Good Luck!

OK, I'll go first.
This isn't the most used knife I have, but it's the one I personally used the most. It's the one I found when I was 12 yrs old and made me fall in love with pocketknives. I carried it all through middle and high schools and college.

And here's something I did with a knife:

Thanks for doing this giveaway.

This is my oldest/used trad. knife had it since i was 15 or so. Thanks for a chance. What year is the Mora from? I like it.

Carried this pen knife daily for over 10 years. One of the few knives I've ever bought new in the box. The Boker Tree Brand Shield is worn smooth from my pocket.

Knife haiku by leghog

the knife cut deeply
and red stump of a finger
required doctor

knife in one's pocket
bone scales and sharpen'd edges
well equips a man

in the whitlr's hand
his small knife works its wonders
leaving what he saw

Great GAW- thanks for the chance.
The Vic SAK on the right is the knife I've worn out most. I carried it for years, until the logo wore off and I had to repair the handles with epoxy putty. I still think it's the most practical and carryable knife I own.

2nd entry: Here's a whittling project that hasn't progressed much, but at least I got the bark off. It was going to be a walking stick, but has become a conversation piece.

Nice! I've tried that several times and never got it to my liking.

Sorry it took so long to draw, but when I did it put out #8. You win! pm or email me with your address and I'll ship it out soon.

Congrats, leghog. You can't have too many cool old users, I say! (and any barlow is a good barlow )
Nice little giveaway, ALLHSS.

Congrats to Leghog!

An old well used barlow is a treasure.

Grandfather's barlow that I inherited.
