Hello Everyone:
I am new to the site and not at all a knife expert. But somehow I've come to own a traditional Uzbek knife, what I understand is a pchak (spelled differently on various sites). I do not know know much about the knife. From what I've read and seen, it is a traditional knife, handmade with colored glass in the handle. And that are often made in Chust, Uzbekistan.
But, I have some questions...
1. Does the knife I have look real or a re-creation?
2. Are they common in the U.S.? How do they get here?
3. Does it have value? If so, to whom and for what?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
