I see a lot of posts about "tactical knives" but few about traditional slip joint type knives, for those who still enjoy them...
I posted a similar pic a long time ago of some Winchesters but after 3 years of looking for all the ones I needed to complete my collection, It is done
My theme was this: I collected every Winchester pattern offered between the years 1987-92 which has a Peachseed, Rogers or Brown Bone handle. The idea here is that they all appear the same, dark bone handles.
1987 is when the Winchesters were brought back into production using the same dies and bone material as the originals. These are made by Queen Cutlery and distributed by Blue Grass Cutlery. Book value of these are just over $3,000.00
The fun over the 3 years was trying to find each one I needed. There was an 8 month span before I finally found the last one...I guess I can die now
Problem now is I don't know what I will start next? All the Stags...?
