Do you consider Buck 110/111/112s as "traditional" knives? If not, why, and what do you consider them? They don't seem to get a lot of attention in the traditional section. Maybe that's just because they are usually discussed in the Buck section. Just curious as to what your thoughts are.
 
I think that the broad definition of traditional here is: any knife that a fellow from the 1960's would have recognized. I think a Buck 110 would fit right in.
 
Buck's 110 dates back to 1962 but, in general, lockback folding hunters date back to the 1700s. It is definitely traditional.

There's a good amount of background on page 128 of Levine's Guide.
 
Yup, they are considered traditional, but like you said, they get talked up on the Buck Forum mostly.

We count them as traditional.
