With most of my hobbies I'm always trading back and forth. Being a careful shopper I manage to make money or break even most of the time, hardly ever have to eat a big loss. Well my first traditional is making me commit. After a couple of weeks it was already the oldest looking knife I've ever owned :p. No way I'm getting close to what I paid. So I figured I'm stuck with it like a guy that forgot the prenup. Still together months after it would've been on to next one :D

Some folks like old lookin knives. A lot of horse trading happens round these parts, you would be surprised. One man's trash is another man's treasure, even more so with trads.

You picked a good one to hold onto! Can't go wrong with an improved trapper.

You'd be surprised what some people would pay for a well looked after GEC, since each batch is only a limited edition.

Traditionals have personality and character, and remind me of an earlier time when skilled craftsmen built mechanical things by hand, one at a time.

The assembly line has its' strengths, but so does the craftsman's workbench.

Yeah, you aren't going to be able to get rid of it now..... all old and worn looking. Send it to me, I'll take it off of your hands so you can rest easy. ;)
