Ok, the storm will be over in a bit. Time to start cleaning up.

Post pics of your knives at work during the clean up.

Needless to say, thoughts and prayers for all those displaced, hurt or worse during the storm.

Help each other out and be safe. Remember the first rule of rescue. Don't become an additional victim.

So appropriate...
I was just thinking that my new forum knife would be a good choice for today to go out and check the damages...we live on base outside of Boston so not only did we not get the full brunt of the storm but any damage isn't really 'mine', but the dogs won't know the difference when I take them for their walk.
Best of everything to all those who WERE affected,
R

Not bad north of the city either, some tide issues, but that's normal, some downed trees, we were on the edge of the storm and were very lucky. Only lost power but its back on now. Gec Moose & Vic farmer when I go out and about to explore town.

Fortunately no damage here, just some minor cleanup that took less than an hour. No real knife work involved, but I did have a Schrade Walden jack knife in my pocket while I was working.

Thinking of you guys. Guess some of you will be too busy to post, but hope you're all safe and sound, and that everything else is on the mend.

Best wishes

Jack

Sigh.................

With 22' waves on Lake Michigan as a taste of this storm's fury, I can only imagine how bad it was on the East coast.

As Peter said prayers, and donations, to the Red Cross for those affected. We heard a lot about how it hit the rich, god only knows how it hit the homeless and those living paycheck to paycheck.
