For those who may be driving to Blade.... On I-24 in Tennessee south of nashville the Bonaroo Concert will be going on this weekend. Traffic in the past has been at a standstill for up to 20 miles in each direction from exit 111 at Manchester. Be prepared for this if you are traveling through the area. Several exits will be completly closed in the attempt to keep traffic moving but it usually starts getting backed up on thursday by noon and the concert's will last late into sunday night. You may want to check into a alternate route. Also THP will be out in force and they have been told to crack the whip when it comes to speed/seatbelt violators.
 
We are thinking of going to Memphis and then over some how.

MikeH you go in from Birmingham right? Just stick with the highways?
 
Oh yeah, some of my customers came in from SC last week and they said there was a bunch of road work in and around Nashville as well, so I am thinkin of avoid it all together.

We just take I-20 E from Birmingham to Atlanta, hang a right at I-285 and it takes us right by the Cobb Galleria Centre. I am not well versed in traveling from Memphis to Birmingham, however.
 
Thanks Mike, I'll figure out the Memphis to Birmingham leg. I think it is major highway all the way down. We'll be back down there in August for the EWTN 25th anniversary wrap up, so it will be a good recon run. :D

Progunner: A clarification. Take I-285 North from I-20. The exit goes off to the right side of I-20, but then loops around to the North.

Been hanging in there. Just looking for a new job and then a second one. Trying to keep sane :D

Speakin' of nate, how's he doing?
 
He's AWESOME!! Definitely the coolest kid ever.. Talks like a frikkin grown up, cracks my ass up all the time. It's too bad you aren't gonna be able to see him this year...but there will be plenty of time for that down the road....& by then they'll have another I'm sure :)

Yeah, I am definately planning on blade next year. That's great that Nate is talking like an adult. So does that mean his mom has to translate for his dad? ;) :D :p Just kidding progunner. You'll have to take a lot of pics along with the rest of the hogs there so I can see what I missed. But on the bright side, the hotel won't have their floors covered in glass again:D :foot:
