Trail Hawk, 1055 or 5150?

i just got one of these small, lightweight hawks with American Tomahawk Company sticker and made in Taiwan. Does anyone know if these are still made from 5150, as one website suggests, or from1055 steel, as others list?

yeah website shows 1055. were they ever made with a different steel?

I have been looking at these for awhile, and most sellers(including CS) have them listed as 1055. Not that there’s much difference between them, and since 5150 is just as easy to obtain I figured why would this one and the rifleman’s be made from different materials?
