Cool video!! Thanks for sharing. The San Mai III Trail Master is a heck of a chopper. Weight distribution and the rolled edge make it hard to beat in the woods.
 
Rolled edge, Appleseed Grind, Convex Grind - all basically the same thing. San Mai III Trail Master, SM Gurkha Kukri, and SM Recon Scout all share the same grind.
 
Ah missed that do you have a new one in 01? think I need to try one out love to see a comparison between carbon v and 01
 
I have a couple of Trail Masters in O-1. They came with the best factory edges I've ever seen. I beat the snot out of one the other day and its still shaving sharp. Cold Steel has really stepped up its game with the O-1 steel. I can't wait for the Recon Scout in O-1.

...And maybe some nicely shaped Micarta/G10 on the classic models as well? It would add a lot to the Gurkha IMHO. Are you listening CS?
